William H. Holmes, O.D.

Dr. William (Bill) Holmes grew up in Springfield, the youngest of four children. He attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Kansas, obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. After several years of teaching and coaching in the area, Dr. Holmes enrolled in the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry, where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and graduated with his Doctorate in Optometry in 1994. He founded Chesterfield EyeWorks in 1999, which has been located in its new building on S. Enterprise since December 2006.

Dr. Holmes is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Missouri Optometric Association, and the Greater Ozarks Optometric Society.
Dr. Holmes and his wife, Linda, live in Springfield and have three children and six grandchildren.
Melissa L. Broaddus, O.D.

Dr. Melissa L. (McQueary) Broaddus was raised in Springfield, Missouri, and is a graduate of Glendale High School. She did her undergraduate work at Eastern Kentucky University, where she met her husband, J.T. They moved to Memphis, Tennessee, for her to attend Southern College of Optometry (graduated with her Doctorate in Optometry in 2013) and did her residency in Family Practice Optometry with emphasis in Ocular Disease at West Tennessee Eye. Dr. Broaddus has practiced at Chesterfield EyeWorks since 2014. Dr. Broaddus is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Missouri Optometric Association, and the Greater Ozarks Optometric Society. Dr. Broaddus and her husband live in Springfield and have one son, named Sam.
